Not still
But not really moving
A little lost
A little conscious
I'm going nowhere
and somewhere towards you
Inwards you,
I'm obvious
Obviously insignificant.
Still
You see me by choice
By desire
I'm having fun
Finding a self in you.

I am Elea van Es, a Moving Image artist currently studying at the AKI ArtEZ University of the Arts in the Netherlands. My practice unfolds at the intersection of video/visual poetry, photography, and installation, where I explore themes of displacement, friendship, and stillness. 

Currently, delving deeper into camera-less image-making methods, and Expanded Cinema as a way to work more with my hands and interact with the frame.
